There is a dance that accompanies me. A movement that walks beside me. My being. To be Sérgio. To be before Sérgio. Being while Sérgio. Be serious. To seriously be. - Ivo Silva
Insólido is a performance-installation-concert around a body that seeks to inscribe itself. He travels the limbo between illusion and focus, continually alert, as a look at intersectional and dynamic memory. It is a journey through several issues that permeate artistic creation and which have been a recurrence in Sérgio Diogo Matias's path: the importance of body-memory, the continuous reconstruction of this body and the persistence in a place of multiplicity and references between visual arts, performance and dance. The discovery of sound, voice, word and text participate as original tools and new generators of meaning. The body as an unformatted, distorted and yet possible center.
